Managing Driver Assessment & Training



Everyone can benefit from assessment and further training. We cover the regulatory responsibilities for managers in relation to driver training, developing relevant policies and preparing a training plan and business case for investing in your staff - both driving and non-driving roles!





We will cover the following subject areas:


  • Assessment and training of drivers ensruing they are appropriately equipped with the knowledge, skills and competence

  • Legal responsibilities in relation to managing driver assessment and training - incl Driver CPC, TM CPC and Van Driver Training

  • Review existing assessment and training policies

  • Undertake a training needs analysis, develop a training plan with a business case based on the requirements of the training plan

  • Assess the outcomes of training, evaluate its impact and make recommendations for improvements / future needs
