Creating a New Driver CPC Training Centre

Skanska Construction UK Ltd is one of the UK’s leading contractors.

We were personally invited to assist with establishing their Training Academy as an Approved Driver CPC Training Centre.

This enables the company to deliver tailor-made CPC courses with subjects relevent to their staff and drivers - not just generic courses from a third party.

We have incorporated LANTRA, ALLMI and City & Guilds courses to also attain CPC hours reducing the need for additional course attendance to meet training hours. One course - 3 certifications!

Accreditation for large Van-Only Fleet

VGC Group Ltd provide people & projects in all types of civil engineering environments, including roads & bridges, airports, nuclear facilities, utilities, mainline & underground rail.

The company engaged us to undertake Pre-audit assessments of their current policies, procedures & documented records to recognise both compliant practices & identify gaps that may pose a risk to their accreditation.

CPC Centre Accreditation

DOT training provide a wealth of Health & Safety, Small Tools and Site safety courses, but wanted to provide CPC courses to their clients.

By establishing a Scheme of Control, suite of documents and procedures, the company are now able to write and deliver bespoke courses to their customers and clients

Whole Company Accreditation

TCP Head Office already held FORS Silver accreditation, and implimenting FORS throughout their other depots required multiple site audits.

We planned attendances to all depots to assess their current levels of compliance and guide the depot managers to meet this key company objective.

5 days, 3 depots, one MOCA accreditation.

Bowman Transport Ltd                                                                FORS Aduit Review

Bowmans Transport Ltd requested that we review their FORS audit report and provide interpretation and guidance of the comments for future implementation.

This means that all Major Action Points were addressed in time for their Follow Up audit, and they were able to maintain their FORS accreditation.

Pr-Audit Assessment & Guidance

With only 3 days before their audit, a site visit to acertain their current level of compliance, and identify any potential Major Action Points that may be raised was urgently required.

After spending one day with the Transport and Operations Manager it was clear that the company was better prepared than they had anticipated, with only a few alterations required to their current policies and procedures to enable them to obtain vital accreditation.

Pre-Audit Assessment

We were approached by W&H Roads Ltd to assess their current policies, processes and records in advance of their coming FORS Audit.

A desktop assessment of these documents, alongside a one day site visit, reassured the company that they already met most of the mandatory requirements. Guidance and information was given on how to fully satisfy all of the standards and to best present the information to their auditor.

Pre-Audit Assessment & TM Guidance

The Natural Wood Flooring Co Ltd received a contractual requirement to become FORS accredited, in a short timeframe.

A day long site vist to assess their current documentation and records presented an opportunity to identify improvements and cast a fresh pair of eyes over their operations.

We supplied an action plan for implimenting best practice, alongside template forms and management spreadsheets that stand them in good stead for Silver level accreditation.
